Meet Your Builder

Custom Furniture since 2007

“I’m not building this for you only; I’m also building this for your grandchildren.”

I have been making sawdust since 2004 and building furniture since 2007. Personally, it is a great combination of problem solving, creating, as well as my personal therapy! Many of the first furniture pieces I made are still found in my home. I enjoy making heirloom quality pieces that will last several lifetimes. In a world of hurry, busyness, and high volume, I want to hold onto the art of fine craftsmanship; emphasizing quality over quantity. I have no desire to create thousands of the same product in order to compete with big box stores. Instead I love creating personal pieces that are a statement and a conversation starter for people. I do not own a CNC machine, laser engraver, or 3D Printer; as everything is made one at a time using my two hands.

I believe people are returning to seeing the value of high quality crafted products, as well as the difference between price and cost. The saying holds true: “The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the appeal of cheap cost is forgotten”. Let’s get back to making things that are worth passing on to our children and grandchildren.
